Back to school Supplies haul + Discount | 2016

The summer holidays are in full swing and I know the last thing you want to think about is school but come on! who doesn't love a good back to school stationary haul. Back to school season means everywhere is basically crammed with cool stationary bits and pieces and I haven't been able to resist. The majority of the items I picked up are basic essentials however, I do have some more fun items (and by fun I mean less boring than standard Bic pens). I will be telling you where I brought everything from and the price for those of you who are interested in purchasing these items. So enjoy!

I'm working on my photo skills. I know I'm not on my A game.

Before we get into the haul I would like to tell you guys about unidays. unidays is a discount site/app which allows you to save on so many stores like Topshop, levis, apple and New look.  It's free to join for all students (school/college or university) in the UK/US So I would highly recommend joining as it's really nice to get discount at shops you already shop at and save a little money. Also I use it all the time and the app works really well. If you would like to join you can sign up through my referral link below.

What I got:

Bic highlighters £1.50 from Tesco:  I used these highlighters last year and I really do love them. There not too thick that they over highlight text and the yellow is just really nice and bright.
Zebra Classic Ballpoint Black pens x10 £1.50 from Tesco: Again these are another product I love. The best thing about them is that there really comfy to hold and I've had these every single year I've been in secondary school and not on has ever leaked.
Helix oxford ruler 75p from Tesco: Its a ruler. It's handy and my last one along with all my others I've ever owned snapped so I got a new. That pretty much sums that all up.
Packet of 100 Tesco Flashcards £1.25: Really basic but essential for studying and passing those tests. They have 100 flashcards in one packet so I thought there were quite cheap as I've seen them in other shops for considerably more.
Bic cristal original pens £1.50 from Asda: I repurchase these absolutely every year. There by far by most used pens at school and the easiest to write with. I would 100% recommend these.

A5 Pukka Pad project book £1.50 from Asda: I love pukka pad-so when I saw this I couldn't resist picking it up. My favourite thing about this is that is has a plastic piece covering the front and back of the book so it's less likely to get crushed in your school bag.

A4 Pukka Pad refill paper £1.50 from Asda: This was really great value for money. The paper is nice quality not too thin and the book is really thick. My only thing is that the lines are not college rule but I can live with that- it's fine.
I actually still need to purchase a lot of things for school that's why this haul was quite small. So you may see another bigger haul soon. If you've made it all the way here it would make my day if you left me a quick comment below.

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you have a great day!

Vegan bullies on youtube Rant // Anna Saccone and that vegan couple

As you probably already know by the title I'm going to be going on a little rant on Vegan bullies over on Youtube. I just want to say I respect vegans and non vegans and I don't mean to offend anyone I'm just expressing my opinions. Or am I saying that the entire vegan community are the same. Also I need to tell you that I'm not vegan. So Lets get into this.

I recently watched a youtube video by 'that vegan couple' on Anna Saccone and before I start I want to say I've watched multiple videos from both these channels and I'm not just saying this because I'm a Anna mega fan or something like that I just think something needs to be said.

So first of all lets talk about the thumbnail in 'that vegan couples' video about Anna which you can see above. Initially, I noticed the thumbnail of the video and noticed the screenshots. I personally feel like they deliberately choose the first one where they've caught her mid way through speaking- to portray her as a whiny and like she's just being stupid. I also think there trying to humiliate her. Then lets just read the text 'psycho vegans'. They make it seem like Anna is such a bad person and just to clear up she didn't say psycho vegans just the word psycho. The sheer fact of using the text and screenshots that they did; makes me feel like they are only after viewers and subscribers as they are using big youtubers to draw people in. Otherwise why would they need to humiliate someone and then call it educating.

Comments on food videos by Vegans?

Also, I've recently seen the rise in the sorts of comments Anna is talking about on food videos. Where Vegans are just bullying not raising awareness. They are targeting certain people in particular videos which is bullying. Please tell me otherwise. I know that vegans have good intentions however, I don't think it is fair to comment all over a non vegans page and say things as harsh to them "as you should die". As I've seen. I think likewise with the video by 'that vegan couple' they could of made a good response video with a better thumbnail and less sarcastic tone throughout parts which would of been a great video- in my opinion.

A few more comments on that video again

They say that it's not directly for that one person- but did I just read Anna Saccone in the title. They singled Anna out and targeted her then said it's for education. When it's actually bullying. Around 5:18 ish in the video they completely just show their true colours and do completely what they accused Anna of doing. Mocking which she did not do. They mocked her and do they think it's okay because there vegan. Despite all this I watched the entire video and I agreed with lots of the messages I just disagree with the way they treated Anna and their video would of been 10 times better if they didn't respond to Anna in the way that they did.

That was all I really had to say. I know this is a really controversial topic and everyone has different opinions. So if you have anything to say about this or related to this let me know below. Until next time.

Update // June 16

Its been a while but now I'm back. I thought I should probably make an update post to tell you guys what's going on and what my new plan is because you've probably forgotten who I am- but that's okay.

Recently, I decided to revert all my old posts back into drafts because I just wasn't feeling them and I was unhappy in the direction my blog had took. All these posts including some of my popular series like the wreck this journal series which is  currently, no longer available to read however, I've decided to add them all to my archive page which will have the series along with all my other old posts which you can read. The archive page is located in my blog menu where all my old posts will soon be added.

I've also decided to give my blog a fresh. These changes will begin from today and hopefully I can come to some sort of ending by the end of June (although I don't think I will ever see the design as being fully complete). Also, you can expect new content from me shortly, I have a ton of ideas which I'm excited to make.

That was all I wanted to tell you guys- make sure to subscribe to me on bloglovin by following me using the button below and links to all my social media are in my sidebar to the right. See you soon.

How to easily link you social media icons or images for beginners | In simple steps

When I first started blogging linking a simple image was something I just couldn't get my head around. However, now a few years later it's something I do all the time and is so simple I wanted to make a guide for people who find this difficult or are beginners. I'm going to be showing two methods on how you can do this one for everyone and one for people using the blogger platform who don't really want to mess about with code. Although you could use both regardless of what platform you are using.

Method one

1. Download your social media icons you want or make your own if you can.

2. Open up the file, your chosen social media icons are in and copy and paste one, on to htmledit.sqaurefree (make sure you paste it in the blue part).

3. So once you've pasted that it will turn into a link- which will actually make the icons appear on your blog or website after these next few steps. So make sure you don't delete that link; but if you do just go through the steps again.

4. Change the text in red below and fill in with your links

 <a href="your social media page link" target="_blank"><img alt="your social media page link" border="0" src="The link from step 3" /></a>

5. All you need to do now is use your complete code from above and place it on your blog or website and your social media icons are fully linked and ready. Easy right?

If you want to use this method to link an image all you need to do is change 'your social media links to' whatever website or place on the internets link you would like to be redirected to when your image is clicked on. Also get the link to your image using step 3 and just use step 4 filling it in with your new links.

Method two- using Blogger

1. Download your social media icons or make them and move the files individually out of the zip folder (if you downloaded them) for each icon you want and place somewhere you'll be able to find them. (you need to do this as you won't be able to upload a zip folder and you want the social media icon in image form).

2. Open up blogger and click on create new post.

3. Now you should have the page where you create new posts up and with that click on the little picture of an image next to the link button. (circled in red). Upload the icon you want.

4. click on the uploaded image and click on the link button and type in the link to your social media page. If the link shows up below the image then it's done it wrong however, all you need to do is keep on trying to link the image. If you've done this properly no text should appear. So it is basically like linking text but in this case you don't want it to show up.

5. Then switch to html by clicking the html button (circled in blue above). There should be a code there looking something like this

 <a href="your social media page link" target="_blank"><img alt="your social media page link" border="0" src="image link" /></a>

6. Copy that code and place wherever you like and your done. This method does seem more tricky than the first however, once you get the hang of the linking it's honestly so much easier than method one. If I didn't really explain this well and you need help ask me in the comments below and I'll be happy to help.

UPDATE // NOVEMBER 2015

I've not blogged in ages and I feel really annoyed with myself for not publishing some new posts- so today I'm just going to explain a little bit about that and what is going on with this blog. So Thank you for reading if your reading this.

Design and Giving my blog a makeover

I've been feeling pretty dis satisfied (if that's a word) with this blog lately and because of that I decided to finally give my blog an extreme makeover. I've actually already started by reverting some of my extremely old embarrassing posts back to drafts and soon you should see some change in the design to. I'm really excited to actually start making major changes to this blog as I've never actually done any extremely huge changes- so I don't know what to expect from the process.

Posting schedule

I haven't posted in what feels like ages because I've been so wrapped up in studying and revision which I do put at the top of my priority list however, I've decided to now post less frequently and instead when I do post- I want to give you guys better content and posts which I feel really good and proud about when I post them.
